As for asking for referrals, it can feel a little awkward at first to ask, however what I’ve found is that my client’s really don’t mind at all. They actually love to help. When I moved my massage practice I let many of my client’s know that I was only accepting referral client’s – because I was working from my home. I got a ton of new client’s from doing just that. And, when I have spaces opening up in my coaching practice, I will often let people know. It’s not that you’re bragging or being needy – you’re simply letting people know you’d appreciate their help.
