Radhakrishnan et Swatanter Kumar avait réservé son jugement le 10 février. Le PIL a classé par une O.N.G., centre pour le litige d'intérêt public (CPIL) et a retiré des bureaucrates et les fonctionnaires de police, y compris ancien commissaire en chef J.M. Lyngdoh d'élection, avaient contesté la nomination de M. Thomas au poteau en raison des affaires pénales en attente contre lui dans une cour du Kerala.
