Non Prescription Colored Contacts
As required by federal law, an eye exam and prescription are necessary before purchasing contacts of any kind. Though this may seem illogical given their name, the term actually refers to the fact that the lenses are not corrective in nature. Though plano lenses could once be bought without a prescription, they were eventually classified as medical devices due to complaints and reports of injuries caused by misuse and defective lenses.
